Alternate Education Resource Organization (AERO)
This is a non-profit organization founded in 1989 by education expert Jerry Mintz to advance learner-centered and democratic approaches to education. 

Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development
This site provides professional development in curriculum and supervision.  Initiates and supports activities to provide educational equity for all students.  Serves as a world-class leader in educational information services.

American Educational Research Association (AERA)
This site is concerned with improving the educational process by encouraging scholarly inquiry related to education and by promoting the dissemination and practical application of research results.  Read their policy statement on high stakes testing in preK-12 education.

American Society for Ethics in Education (ASEE)
This site is dedicated to ending abusive and corruptive practices in our schools.

Gerald Bracey is a nationally known policy analyst, researcher, author and lecturer.  He is best known for separating public education myths from reality.

This site is dedicated to helping teachers become more caring so children can become more caring and competent.

Center for Education Reform
This is a national, independent, non-profit advocacy organization founded in 1993 to provide support and guidance to parents and teachers, community and civic groups, policymakers and grassroots leaders, and all who are working to bring fundamental reforms to their schools.

Coalition of Essential Schools
This is a national network of schools supported by regional centers which coach school through systematic changes.

This group analyzes reports, dispels rumors, rebuts lies and provides truths about public education in the United States.

North Central Regional Educational Laboratory
