Education Goals Panel
Bipartisan and intergovernmental body of federal and state
officials created in July 1990 to assess and report on state
and national progress toward achieving National Education
Goals. It has been dissolved "pursuant to
Congressional mandate" although the website is
operational. It is no longer being updated or
maintained.

PTA
Oldest and largest volunteer association in the United
States working exclusively on behalf of children and youth.

Ohio
Business Roundtable
As stated on the website: "The BRT's
mission is to apply the knowledge, experience and insight of
its CEO members, working in partnership with public leaders,
to solve complex problems affecting Ohio's overall social and
economic vitality....Much of the BRT's advocacy is focused on
technology-driven economic growth and standards-based
education. In 2001, the BRT established Battelle
for Kids as a 501c3 affiliate to carry out
its education reform agenda."
