Use the Media to Get Your Message Out
Write Letters to the Editor or Op Eds for local papers.
This is a simple way to get started and is exactly what we
started with. Copies of our letters to various papers
are available.
Provide Press Releases and TV coverage of local activist
activities. You'd be surprised what the local TV
stations and newspapers might cover. Give them a call
anytime you are planning an event or want to express concerns
over major issues.
Request coverage on local Talk Radio programs and call in
with your concerns.
